The Wolverhampton Green Innovation Corridor is an emerging innovation district bringing together people, places and ideas to accelerate the transition to a greener future.
Stretching from Wolverhampton city centre through Springfield Campus and Wolverhampton Science Park to the internationally recognised i54 business park, the Corridor brings together research excellence, entrepreneurial ambition, industry expertise and investment within a connected innovation ecosystem.
Focused on green construction, advanced engineering and digital technologies, the district provides an environment where ideas can be developed, tested, commercialised and scaled to address some of the most significant economic, environmental and societal challenges of our time.
Backed by £27 million of investment, the Green Innovation Corridor is a major regeneration and innovation programme delivered through a partnership between the City of Wolverhampton Council and the University of Wolverhampton. Supported by funding from the UK Government and the West Midlands Combined Authority, and designated as part of the West Midlands Investment Zone, the Corridor is helping to attract investment, create jobs and strengthen Wolverhampton's position as a leading destination for green innovation.
